My New Napa Cottage

I’m finally settling into my new Napa cottage, and I’m obsessed. It’s warm, cozy, and exactly the kind of place I dream about when I’m living out of suitcases and hotel rooms 75% of the time. Both kitchens — indoor and outdoor — feel like they were made for me, and cooking here with friends (or just for myself after a long trip) is already becoming my favorite ritual. I planted a garden with mature herbs and veggies so I can go straight from garden to table, and while I was away for work these last three months, my friend and neighbor took care of everything. I hardly recognized it when I got home — it has absolutely flourished. You’ll see it in the photos below. And to both the right and left of the house is you’ll find a couple of small vineyards that came with the property. I can’t wait to learn how to make wine from those grapes. I already know I’m going to love spending more time here.
